The Economics Department at Sewanee: The University of the South invites applications for a full-time tenure track position commencing in the fall of 2020.

We seek candidates with research and teaching interests in macroeconomics, with a subfield in monetary economics. Preference will be given to those who can also teach economic history. The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate level introductory and intermediate macroeconomics courses as well as upper level courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. The teaching load is 5 courses per year.

A successful candidate will exhibit excellence in teaching and a strong potential for successful research and publications. Applicants should have their Ph.D. in hand by September 2020.
