The Department of Economics and the Max Bell School of Public Policy at McGill University invite applications for a joint tenure-track position in Microeconomic Policy/Energy and the Environment. We welcome applications from qualified candidates in all areas of applied microeconomics: including, but not limited to, environmental and resource economics, energy economics, public economics, labor economics, health economics, and industrial organization. The appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, but appointment at a higher rank is possible under exceptional circumstances. The position start date is August 1, 2020.

The position is part of McGill’s ambitious strategic research objective of strengthening public policy and organizations, and creating a deeper understanding of social transformation.
