The University of Oregon Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin Fall 2020. We seek candidates whose research interests lie in the field of empirical macroeconomics. Qualified candidates must demonstrate potential for outstanding research and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates whose research enhances existing areas of strength in the department. The required Ph.D. in economics must be complete by September 15, 2020.

Candidates should submit a 1) cover letter, 2) CV, 3) copy of graduate transcripts, 4) written research sample, 5) evidence of teaching effectiveness, and 6) a statement of contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion. For additional information on this statement, see immediately below. Three letters of recommendation are also required.
