Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Real Estate

The Department of Risk Management in the Smeal College of Business (University Park) invites applications for a faculty position in Real Estate or Urban Economics beginning fall 2020. This is a tenured/tenure track position and applications are invited at any level (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor). Principal duties include research, teaching, public service, and participation in other departmental duties. Qualifications: Ph.D. (granted or near completion) in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, or related field and a demonstrated capacity to conduct quality scholarly research as well as high level of teaching competence. All successful candidates are expected to pursue an active research program and perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, including participation in the College's Ph.D. program. Applications will be reviewed starting October 1, 2019 and will be accepted until the position is filled. Applicants should upload a detailed C.V., evidence of teaching effectiveness, and a sample of research work. In addition, applicants for the assistant professor level should have three letters of references emailed to RESTtenure@smeal.psu.edu.
