Position Title: Assistant Professor – Agricultural Marketing and Quantitative Analysis
Appointment: Tenure-track (9 month appointment) Research and Teaching

Department and Program: The Department of Agricultural Economics, at Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas, is a large and diverse Department with a broad array of programs, faculty, and students focusing on the application of economic analysis to various research topics. This position will contribute to the advancement of research and teaching programs related to agricultural economics, agricultural marketing and quantitative analysis. We seek individuals from diverse backgrounds to contribute to our department’s learning and work environment. Responsibilities and duties: To contribute to the education and research programs of the Department of Agricultural Economics and the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the candidate is expected to: develop a nationally recognized research program by conducting and disseminating original research related to agricultural economics, agricultural marketing and quantitative methods, teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses, mentor and advise students, and secure external-funds.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in agricultural economics, economics, or a closely related field; strong potential for, or an established record of effectiveness in teaching, research, and service; strength in quantitative analysis.
