Bates White, located in Washington, DC, is seeking PhD candidates and experienced PhDs to work closely with senior staff and partners on high-profile engagements. Responsibilities include developing analytical frameworks for big data, designing machine learning tools, and tackling complex empirical problems. We seek candidates who think creatively about economic problems and who enjoy conveying solutions to non-economists.
