The Department of Economics in the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University invites applications for an economist in the position of tenure-track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor beginning September 2020. Rank will be determined by the level of experience.

The Department of Economics offers the BABA with a concentration in business economics, the BA with a concentration in economics, and a minor and a specialization in international economic development. The department also supports the Professional MBA, the Bridge MBA, the Leadership Executive MBA, and the MS in Business Analytics programs.

The responsibilities for the position include teaching a combination of face-to-face and online courses in the following areas: 1) applied econometrics and/or forecasting/time series econometrics and 2) basic statistics, quantitative methods, and/or principles of microeconomics; establishing and maintaining a strong scholarly program; and providing departmental, school, and university service.

Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics
