Associate Director
Institute for Research on Labor and Employment
The Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE) at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for an Associate Director (Academic Coordinator II). The Associate Director, working closely with the Director, oversees IRLE’s research and academic activities and establishes the Institute’s overall strategic direction and priorities.
The Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE) is an Organized Research Unit of the University of California at Berkeley that promotes better understanding of the conditions, policies, and institutions that affect the well-being of workers and their families and communities. IRLE informs public debate with evidence about inequality, the economy, and the nature of work, serving as a bridge between world-class research within the university and policymakers outside.
This is a full-time, career position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Anticipated start date is December 1, 2019, but is negotiable.
