Duties of Postdoctoral Fellow in Health Outcomes and Policy Research

Mentor: Junling Wang, Ph.D.

Description

A postdoctoral fellow position is available under the supervision of Dr. Junling Wang within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Translational Science of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to contribute in conducting health services research related to Medicare Parts C/D Star Ratings, medication therapy management services, economic efficiency, racial and ethnic disparities, other topics. The postdoc will participate in several research projects currently funded by the National Institutes of Health and other sources under the supervision of Junling Wang, PhD. This individual will also have the responsibility of carrying out independent research related to these projects.

Qualifications

PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology or a closely related field, at least two-year experience in research, at least one publication, familiarity with the U.S. health care system, familiarity with data management and data analysis software such as SAS and Stata, and strong communication and excellent writing skills.

This position is available immediately but the start date is negotiable. Salary is commensurate with experience.
