The Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences of Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel invites applications for two positions

Full Professor (W3) in International Economics

The future jobholder should represent the area of Economics, in particular international economics with research and doctrine. Candidates are expected to be economists that have published theoretical and empirical research on important global economic questions in renowned, refereed international journals. The research focus should complement the existing expertise in Kiel. Thus, a focus in the areas trade policy, international migration, international macroeconomics, international tax policy, regional economics and / or international development are possible.

The appointments are made jointly by the University and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

The positions are associated with an appointment to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and entail a reduced teaching load which will be completed at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität.

We expect the candidates to engage in policy and outreach activities at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, to contribute to teaching and the Ph.D. program ”Quantitative Economics“ at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, to initiate and head research projects and research groups and to participate in international research networks.
