Applicants should have a relevant higher degree. The successful appointee should demonstrate the ability to teach economics courses with ample business and policy applications. Priority will be given to those who can teach courses related to big data analytics, economics of digital markets, economics of smart cities, statistical methods for data science and environmental economics. Industry experience in data analytics will be highly valued.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years starting from January 2020. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
