The Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Officer to work on a project investigating the economics and social policy of inequality and growth, as part of the interdisciplinary team directed by Professor Brian Nolan working on Oxford Martin Programme on Inequality and Prosperity: Promoting Inclusive Growth. Core topics include earnings inequality and the labour market, inequality and growth, equalising opportunity, and inequality and the firm.

You will have a PhD/DPhil preferably in economics (but applications with a doctorate in social policy, sociology or another relevant social science discipline are also encouraged), with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and statistical/econometric methods.

This is a full-time post, fixed term to 31 May 2021, starting on 1 June 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
