The Department of Public Administration & Policy at the University at Albany invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Public Policy beginning in Fall 2019 for one year with the possibility of a second. Candidates must be strongly committed to excellence in teaching, specifically in the areas of Microeconomics and Statistics.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in policy areas such as education, environment, or health, as well as engagement in high-quality teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Other policy areas will also be considered. Applicants are expected to teach a 2-2 load: 2 sections of Master's-level Microeconomics (for MPA students), 1 section of Statistics (either Master's or undergraduate level), and an undergraduate Public Policy elective based on their teaching interests in agreement with the undergraduate program director.
