Assistant Professor in Agricultural Economics, AY, Tenure-Track.

College of Agriculture and College of Letters and Science
Montana State University, Bozeman

This position is a TT Assistant Professorship requiring a 2-course teaching load in agricultural business and economics courses (possibly master's level). Scholarship will result in publications in lead peer-reviewed journals. The position consists of a 50% Montana Agricultural Experiment Station appointment.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or Economics prior to the starting date.
2. Strong potential for effectiveness in teaching, scholarship, and outreach/service.
3. Demonstrated interest in scholarship applicable to commercial agriculture, including commercial agriculture in Montana, especially in the areas of production economics, farm management, agricultural marketing, food marketing, finance, international trade and/or closely related areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated success in scholarship and teaching.
2. Scholarship and outreach interests that contribute to the MAES mission.
3. Strength in economic theory and quantitative analysis.
4. Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
