Head and Professor of Economics
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School is seeking a senior academic for the post of Head and Professor of Economics at the rank of Full Professor.

The Role
Reporting to the Dean of Business and Management, the Head and Professor of Economics is expected to provide leadership and manage the Department in its diverse academic and administrative functions. Applications/nominations for the position are invited from well-qualified and accomplished scholars. A qualified candidate is expected to have an outstanding academic record in a major field of Economics, international research reputation, and some relevant administrative experience. Proven capacity to interact effectively with government, industry and commercial sectors is an advantage.
Terms & Applications/Nominations:
The appointment will be concurrent with a substantive professorial appointment. Upon completion of the headship term, the appointee is expected to continue to commit to the long term development of the department.
