Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Economics Department of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand is looking to hire a new and/or experienced PhD economist in the above areas. Economists are expected to produce high-quality research for publication in refereed journals and to provide policy analysis on issues relevant to the Bank. The Reserve Bank has access to excellent microeconometric data on households and firms and is particularly interested in strengthening analysis of labour markets, reflecting its dual mandate. Preference will be given to candidates with labour economics, open economy macroeconomics and/or econometrics experience. Excellent analytical and communications skills are required.
