The Department of Economics in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business at Elon University invites applications for a one-year, visiting faculty position. Contingent upon final budgetary approval, the position is a 9-month contract, beginning in August 2019. Teaching will likely to include a mix of principles, statistics, or intermediate theory. The teaching load will be 3 courses each semester.

Applicants should submit a CV with cover letter, a statement of teaching philosophy and interests, recent teaching evaluations, and three letters of recommendation online at https://www.aeaweb.org/joe/candidate. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Applications received by March 31st will receive full consideration. Candidates with a PhD by August 2019 will be given preference, but ABDs will be considered. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of people, and who can contribute to the climate of inclusivity are encouraged to identify their experiences in their cover letter.
