Job Summary:
Georgia Southwestern State University, an AACSB accredited institution located in Americus Georgia, is seeking a Lecturer to teach undergraduate Economics classes, advise students, and serve as an active member of a cohesive, innovative faculty in the School of Business Administration. This is a full-time position to begin August 2019. Doctorate degree required for consideration of appointment to tenure track position.
GSW has vibrant on-campus and online business programs, with degrees in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Management and Marketing, as well as a strong MBA program. As a teaching institution, we expect faculty to interact with students as mentors and advisors. Our faculty are involved in School and University leadership, and work closely with the community.
Required Qualifications:
MBA or related degree in Economics or related discipline. Doctorate degree required for consideration of appointment to tenure track position.
Professional experience in an area in which the above degree has been applied.
University teaching experience preferred.
