IE University’s School of Global and Public Affairs (IEGPA) seeks applicants for positions at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Public Economics, Political-Economy, or Development Economics. The successful candidate will have a dual appointment with the IEGPA and the IE Business School, and should have a strong publication record in top peer-reviewed outlets, or the potential of producing them in the coming two years. We are especially interested in scholars whose research deals with technological change and innovation, as well as those whose research interests are in the field of political economy.

Applications should include a cover letter and vita, a job market paper, three academic references, and evidence of teaching excellence (e.g. teaching evaluations). Candidates must have a PhD from a recognized Department of Economics, or demonstrate clear evidence that the PhD will be complete by July, 2019.
