Since 1990, Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS) has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous thinking and high-impact transformative education, situated within one of the world's most prestigious research universities, and in the heart of the Cambridge Cluster, the most successful technology entrepreneurship cluster in Europe.

Cambridge Judge Business School is a highly ranked modern business school, located at the heart of an 800 year old University, with an ambitious faculty in the Economics & Policy Group.

The Economics and Policy Group at CJBS, is looking to recruit a University Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Economics. The Group seeks to increase its global visibility through its research outputs, including publications in core Economics and Management Journals as well as placing its PhD graduates in academic careers. The ideal candidate would be someone with a proven research record and ideally but not necessarily with an interest in one or more of the following: the economics of digitalization and the internet, Industrial Organization with an emphasis on the economics of innovation and /or technology policy. It is hoped that the role holder would complement and potentially be able to work with existing Faculty in one or more of the following areas:

• The Economics of energy, climate change and the environment
• Industrial economics and regulatory policy
• Innovation policy
• Technology, innovation and the Internet

Additional interests in one or more of the following areas would also be an advantage: international economics, trade and transportation economics.

The teaching associated with the Lectureship covers core and elective courses on the MBA, EMBA our various MPhil programmes, the Management studies Tripos and the Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Triposes. Project administration and dissertation supervision is also expected.

Depending on the experience of the successful candidate, the appointment will be made at the University Lecturer or University Senior Lecturer level. Appointments will be for the beginning of the 2019 academic year or as soon as possible thereafter.
