1. University Profile:
SWUFE is a national key university under direct administration of the Ministry of Education and is listed in both “Project 211” and “985 Innovative Platforms for Key Disciplines Project”of the Chinese government as part of the national endeavor to build world-class universities in the 21st century.

2. The Center Profile:
Western China Economic Research Center of SWUFE has two teaching and research institutions, which are population research institute and rural reform and Development Research Institute. At present, the center has 34 faculty members.
The center offers three doctoral programs, including demography, Population, Resources and Environmental Economics and Agronomics. Also, the center offers five programs for Master of Science degree, which are demography, Population, Resources and Environmental Economics and Agronomics, Sociology, and Agricultural Economic Management. In addition, Master of Agricultural Extension is set as a professional degree.

3. Majors Wanted:
Agronomics, Agricultural Economic Management, Resource Economics, Environmental Economics, Sociology, etc.
