The Center for Agribusiness in Florida Gulf Coast University’s (FGCU) Lutgert College of Business (LCOB) is seeking to fill a faculty position for the 2019-2020 academic year. The successful applicant will be assigned to the Center in Agribusiness and will hold the academic rank of Assistant/Associate Professor depending on their qualifications. The primary duties of this position will be to teach and develop courses for the agribusiness minor or other courses in LCOB as assigned;produce scholarly research; be involved with College and University committees and/or initiatives; and as other duties as assigned. In addition, the successful candidate will assist Center Director in the development of industry workshops and interact with southwest Florida agricultural community.

This position requires an earned doctorate in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics or related business discipline from an accredited institution.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience, the ability to teach a wide range of agribusiness courses, experience with program development, and record of scholarly research consistent with classification at Scholarly Academic under the LCOB faculty qualification standards.
