Marist College invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics to join the School of Management beginning fall 2019.

This tenure track position will involve teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses (including online courses) and maintaining a high level of professional activity through research and service. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate (introductory and upper-level) and graduate courses in economics. Candidates should have an earned doctorate in economics or an anticipated completion date during the fall of 2019.

Candidates should be superior undergraduate and graduate teachers and have a commitment to research. The candidate is expected to advise undergraduate majors, produce scholarship, and perform services for the college, school and department.
Teaching experience and publications in behavioral economics, game theory, industrial organization, law and economics, political economy or other emerging fields in economics is a plus. Interest in contributing to the Marist Bureau of Economic Research is also desirable.
