The UCL School of Slavonic & East European Studies (SSEES – the School) is seeking to recruit a Professor in Economics or Business Economics to play a leading role in further developing the School’s expertise and presence in these disciplines. This important position is part of SSEES’s current programme of academic investments and will make a critical contribution to advancing the School’s unique interdisciplinary mission. The School particularly seeks applicants with research interests in fields including (but not limited to) economic development, behavioural economics, political economy, international economics/business, comparative/institutional economics, socio-economics and innovation studies.

The School is specifically seeking applications from candidates with internationally excellent profiles in either Economics or Business Economics that relate to the study of East Europe, Russia or Eurasia, and who have accompanying excellent academic leadership and management competencies. The position, in particular, is suited to candidates skilled at undertaking interdisciplinary research and teaching.
