The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invites applications for a full-time tenure track position at all ranks in Market Design or Mechanism Design of Microeconomic Theory. Applicants should be fluent in both Korean and English and have a Ph.D. in Economics, or be expected to receive the degree before September 1, 2019. The Division is seeking highly qualified candidates who are competent in teaching and research, and will play a major role of managing the economics program. The appointment will depend on the applicant's qualifications and will start on September 1, 2019. The university provides comprehensive fringe benefits, including on-campus housing, moving expenses, and start-up research grants.
