The Center for Finance and Development, National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University is inviting applications for one research associate.

Job Qualifications
1. A Ph.D. degree in Economics or Finance.
2. Research experience in theoretical or empirical macroeconomics, and strong interest in policy-oriented research.
3. Candidates familiar with econometrics techniques, Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium models, and macroeconomic forecasting are highly preferred.
4. Proficiency in Chinese and English.
5. Strong team player.

About the Center for Finance and Development:
The Center for Finance and Development is led by Dr. Ma Jun, member of People’s Bank of China (PBC)’s monetary policy committee and former Chief Economist of the Research Bureau at the PBC. Research priorities of the Center include, among others, macroeconomics, systemic financial risks, monetary policy framework and fiscal reforms. In addition to long-term themes, the Center also works with government agencies, regulators and financial institutions on research projects.
