Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Economics Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz invites applications for an associate or full professor (tenured) in macroeconomics and international finance (#JPF00671-19). The Economics Department has a Ph.D. program, a professional Master’s program, and several undergraduate programs.
Applicants should have an established track record of research and teaching experience in macroeconomics and international finance. Applicants will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level; advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; contribute to graduate education, the research environment of the department, and to university and professional service.
The successful candidate must be able to work with students, faculty, and staff from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds. We welcome candidates who understand the barriers facing women and minorities who are underrepresented in higher education careers (as evidenced by life experiences and educational background), and who have experience in equity and diversity with respect to teaching, mentoring, research, life experiences, or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
