Current research covers corporate finance, security market microstructure, asset pricing, quantitative finance, real estate finance, consumer finance, behavioral finance and banking, but we encourage applications from candidates with research interests outside those areas.

The Discipline of Finance is a primary center for finance research in Australasia, located in the exciting and multicultural city of Sydney. Our expertise is reflected in our sought-after degree programs, both undergraduate and postgraduate (including PhD), which promote a deep understanding of the key concepts and contemporary applications of finance.

About You
We currently invite applications from outstanding candidates in all fields of finance for the full-time, tenure-track position of Lecturer (equivalent of Assistant Professor in North America).

The successful applicant will have a completed (or be nearing the completion of) a PhD in Finance. Initial interviews will be held at the AFA/AEA meetings in Atlanta in January 2019.The successful applicant is expected to commence employment by July 2019; however, this may be negotiable.
