The Economics Discipline at the National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in agricultural economics, which is available for two years.

The position is an excellent opportunity for an early career researcher to advance his/her research skills and knowledge in the field of agricultural economics. The position is embedded in a large multi-disciplinary project exploring animal health and welfare, as well as antimicrobial resistance. Specifically, the research will focus on the economics of animal welfare and biosecurity in the Irish agricultural sector.

Requirements: PhD in (Agricultural) Economics, good understanding of agriculture, experience in econometric modelling.
