The economics department at Susquehanna University seeks candidates for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2019. The candidate will be expected to teach principles of economics courses, intermediate macroeconomics, an occasional finance or financial economics course, and other upper-level economics courses based on departmental needs and applicant’s interest. Willingness to occasionally teach an introductory business and/or finance course is preferred. Additional responsibilities include advising students, scholarship, and school and university service.

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in economics before the start date of August 2019. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to publish research at the level required by AACSB-International accredited business programs. The usual teaching load is three courses per semester.
