The School of Economics and Finance at QUT invites expressions of interest in relation to one or more (tenure-track) positions as Assistant Professor (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer) in Economics or in Finance. Within Economics, priority will be given to applicants that work within the Industrial Organization (IO) field. Within Finance, priority will be given to applicants that work within the Banking/Asset Pricing/Corporate Finance fields.

QUT School of Economics and Finance will interview potential candidates for the position at the ASSA Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA, USA, on January 4-6, 2019 and at QUT, whatever is best applicable for the applicant. Based on the interviews, the School will invite a number of candidates to visit QUT for job talks. An assessment committee will evaluate the applicants after which preferred candidates will receive offers of employment.
