The Department of Economics of Lancaster University Management School (UK) is looking to fill a position at the level of Lecturer (i.e., Assistant Professor) or Senior Lecturer (i.e., Associate Professor) in Macroeconomics. The ideal candidate should have a good track record in the field, including recent publications in internationally recognized journals (i.e., a publication is necessary also for Lecturer role), success in module development and curriculum innovation, and some experience on administrative duties (less so for Lecturer role). The jobholder will be expected to participate fully in the intellectual life of the department and of the faculty-wide Centre for Financial Econometrics, Asset Markets and Macroeconomic Policy, to maintain a high quality research agenda that reaches out to external networks of collaborators as well as contributing to research activities within the Department and the Faculty. The teaching responsibilities will consist of a contribution to core subjects at any level, as well as supervision of MSc and PhD students.
