ITAM Business invites applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions, at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels, accordingly, effective August 2019. Candidates in all areas of finance, applied economics, business and accounting will be considered. Initial appointments will run for up to eight years (subject to a renewal after the third year). Salaries, research funds and teaching loads are competitive.

Application Procedure: Each candidate should submit: (1) a curriculum vitae, (2) a job market paper, (3) other research papers and publications, (4) evidence of effective teaching (if available), and (5) three letters of recommendation via www.econjobmarket.org/positions/5470.

Deadline for submission: November 30, 2018, but applications send by January 31, 2019 may be considered. Faculty members will interview potential candidates at the 2019 ASSA/AEA/AFA Meetings.

Requirements: Candidates should have or expect to complete a PhD in finance, economics, business or related fields by August 1, 2019. Successful candidates are expected to conduct original and high quality research, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment. Faculty members are expected to teach courses in English to undergraduate, masters in finance, and MBA students. English is the working language of the Business faculty. At the assistant professor level, candidates are expected to publish high quality research in top journals. At the associate and full faculty levels, candidates should have a proven publication record in top academic journals and strong teaching credentials according to their rank.
