The Department of Economics invites applications for one tenure track Assistant Professor position starting in Fall 2019. Ph.D. in hand or firmly expected by August 2019 is required. Position is for a Macroeconomist with preference given to those with one or more of the following fields: financial economics, economic history, and monetary economics.

Successful candidates will teach upper division course in areas of expertise with quantitative/statistical applications. Candidates are also expected to teach principles courses. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching excellence, creative activity and scholarship, student advisement, and university and community service. ECSU is especially interested in faculty with demonstrated innovation and excellence in teaching in a liberal arts curriculum, and sensitivity to diverse populations and perspectives.
