The Department of Political Science, Economics, and World Languages and Cultures at Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, Indiana, is seeking applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics position starting on August 12, 2019. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate economics courses. Candidates with health and/or regional economics teaching and research experiences will be preferred. Candidates with the ability to teach and conduct research in public policy issues at the regional level are strongly encouraged to apply.

A Ph.D. degree in Economics or Applied Economics is required. Applications from ABD candidates will be accepted with the expectation that the dissertation must be successfully defended by no later than August 12, 2019.
