The IAER at DUFE invites applications for tenured and tenure-track faculty positions at all levels. The strong candidates for all fields in economics will be considered. Responsibilities include developing a strong research program and teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

Junior tenure-track applicants must show potential for engaging in outstanding research and developing excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, and must have met the requirements for the Ph.D. in Economics or related field by the time of appointment.

Senior applicants will have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment and committed to an active research program. They will have a proven record of mentoring and guiding research of doctoral students, a proven record of excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students, a proven commitment to a continuing state-of-the-art research program, and a record of leadership or potential for leadership.

Applications should include a letter of interest, CV, and Job Market Paper. A sample Research Paper is optional. For the Assistant Professor’s rank at least 3 letters of recommendation submitted to JOE, and for the Associate/Full Professor’s rank names and contact information of at least 3 references, need to be submitted to email address iaer@dufe.edu.cn.

Applications received before December 10, 2018 will be fully considered. Pre-emptive interviews may be arranged prior to the ASSA meeting in Atlanta. Applications received after December 10, 2018 may also be considered until the position is filled.
