The Department of Economics at Université Laval invites applications for a position in Applied Economics with a special interest in macroeconomics in the broadest sense (macroeconometrics, financial economics, public finance, and development economics). Candidates in other applied fields are also encouraged to apply. All ranks will be considered. The expected starting date is June 1st, 2019 and is subject to institutional approval.

Candidates should have or be near the point of completing their PhD, and will be expected to conduct research, supervise students and teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Valuing diversity, Université Laval encourages all qualified individuals to apply - particularly women, visible and ethnic minorities, aboriginal persons, and persons with disabilities - but priority will be given to Canadians and Canadian permanent residents. Applicants should be aware that French is the language of instruction at Université Laval.

Applications must include a C.V., three reference letters and samples of research papers including a job market paper..
