The Boston Fed is looking for an individual committed to making a difference in reducing economic inequality through applied research and innovative communications to manage the Community Development Research & Communications group in the Regional & Community Outreach (RCO) department. This group is responsible for advancing the work of the department’s three focal areas—Supporting growth in small cities and rural areas, advancing household economic security and equity, and expanding employment opportunities—by conducting applied research and analysis, effectively engaging internal and external audiences with our work while lifting up and amplifying the voices of those in our communities, and contributing issue-specific expertise to inform the strategies of our departmental initiatives.

The Director/AVP for RCO Research and Communications is a senior member of the leadership team contributing to the strategic direction of the department, managing the work of the RCO Research and Communications group, informing senior bank leadership on economic and community development issues, building external research networks and partnerships, and representing RCO’s work with external audiences.
