The Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position beginning in the 2019-2020 academic year. The position will be a two-year, renewable appointment. The successful applicant will teach five one-quarter courses per academic year in introductory or higher level undergraduate economics, and advice undergraduate students. Qualifications for appointment include a demonstrated record of excellent teaching in an intermediate level economics course. An economist with teaching experience in econometrics, applied econometrics, time series, statistics and linear algebra for economics, industrial organization, microeconomics, regulation, development, and related fields is preferred. Applicants must have a completed PhD and teaching experience.
