The Department of Economics in the Poole College of Management of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in macroeconomics and monetary economics. Responsibilities include: maintain a successful research agenda that produces publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals; be an effective teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels; participate in research with graduate students, supervise PhD dissertations; and provide service to the department, college and university.

Subject to budget contingencies, the appointment will begin on August 16, 2019. Applicants should hold a PhD by that date.
