The Division of Social Science at New York University Abu Dhabi welcomes applications for faculty positions in Economic History at any level (assistant, associate or full professor). We expect successful candidates to commence their appointment September 1, 2019, subject to final budget approval. Terms of employment are competitive with leading US institutions and include generous research funds as well as housing and educational subsidies. Applications from scholars with backgrounds and experiences different to those represented in the Social Science faculty and/or women are especially encouraged.
 
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The review of applications will begin immediately, and will continue until positions are filled. To ensure full consideration by the search committee, applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, statement of research, and representative manuscripts/publications. Applicants will also be prompted to enter the names and email addresses of at least three referees.  Each referee will be contacted to upload their reference letter.  Senior candidates are not required to submit references at this time.
