Prysm Group is a blockchain economics and governance advisory firm led by Harvard economics PhDs. Prysm Group uses game theory, market design, social choice, and contract theory to advise blockchain-based startups and enterprise projects. In addition, Prysm Group engages in public speaking, writing, and academic research on economics and technology.

Prysm Group is looking for full-time PhD economists to join its team. Economists will work with the firm’s Founding Economists to advise blockchain projects on topics including token, platform, and protocol design. Additional opportunities may include speaking engagements, public writing, and research collaborations.

Basic Qualifications

- PhD in Economics or closely-related field
- Comfort with applied economic theory
- Graduate coursework / research in contract theory, finance, market design, game theory, or related

Preferred Qualifications

- Interest in blockchain / economics of technology
- Interest in business strategy / advising. Individuals with industry work experience, especially in professional services, encouraged to apply
- Comfort working independently and in fast-moving teams
