The Department of Economics has openings beginning September 2019 for junior and senior faculty with strong records in research and teaching. We encourage outstanding candidates in all fields to apply. Candidates with an expertise in the following fields are especially encouraged to apply: macroeconomics, behavioral economics, experimental economics, history of economic thought. A Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment. The department seeks applicants with an active research agenda and a strong publication record (or the potential to develop one). Applicants must be able to teach effectively in our undergraduate program and to contribute to our graduate program by teaching one of the core courses or a graduate elective, according to need. The rank is open and salary is competitive.

TOBB-ETU is a private foundation university that was founded through an endowment very generously provided by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (shortly TOBB in Turkish).
