Nathan Associates seeks qualified candidates for an Associate position within the company’s Litigation & Expert Services division in El Segundo, California. Associates work closely with our experts to prepare expert opinions and testimony on behalf of laws firms and their clients involved in various types of litigation matters, including labor and employment, breach of contract, financial litigation, intellectual property, and general commercial litigation.

Primary Responsibilities
• Assist with portions of case management and day-to-day project activities across a range of expertise areas.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Successfully work in a team environment, collaborate with Nathan experts and client personnel to achieve engagement objectives.
• Assist with the development of junior staff.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Economics preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics are welcome to apply.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience, ideally in a professional services environment. Labor or litigation experience a plus.
• Stata and/or SAS proficiency.
• Training and experience in applied microeconomics, econometrics, and statistics.
• Strong database management, data analytics skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of legal documents and complex agreements preferred.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
