Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of African and African American Studies seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in African Studies, specializing in the social sciences, with a preference in areas of sociology, political science/ government, or economics and economic development. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2019. The tenure-track professor is expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Basic Qualifications: Doctoral degree required by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research is expected.
