The Department of Economics in the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University seeks a tenure-track macroeconomist at the assistant, associate, or full professor level beginning September 2019.

The Department of Economics offers the BABA with a concentration in business economics, the BA with a concentration in economics, a minor and a specialization in international economic development, and a graduate quantitative economic analysis certificate. The department also supports the Professional MBA, the Bridge MBA, the Leadership Executive MBA, and the MS in Business Analytics programs.

The responsibilities for the position include teaching intermediate macroeconomics and at least one of the following courses: principles of macroeconomics, statistics, quantitative methods, econometrics, or forecasting; establish and maintain a strong scholarly program in the area of macroeconomics; and provide departmental, school, and university service.

Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics by September 1, 2019.
