Subject to approval by the Office of the Provost, the Economics department anticipates a tenure track opening for faculty with strong records in research and teaching with an expected start date of August 16, 2019. Microeconomic Theory is our high priority area. Candidates early in the rank of associate professor may be considered if the record of scholarship is exceptionally strong. The Department is interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching, research, and service. Candidates in other fields of economics may be considered if the record of scholarship is exceptionally strong. Applicants should hold a PhD in economics or related field or be expected to complete such a PhD before the start date.
