The Department of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (located 30 miles from Boston, MA, and a member of the five-campus University of Massachusetts system), invites applications for one tenure-track position at the assistant professor rank beginning September 2019. Applications submitted by November 1, 2018 will receive full consideration. Applications submitted beyond this deadline are welcome, but will only be reviewed conditional on the Department’s timeline.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in macroeconomics. ABD will be considered but doctoral requirements must be completed by the time of appointment
• Ability to teach courses in introductory economics, statistics, econometrics and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses within the realm of the job candidate’s field of specialization
• The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
