The School of Economics at Henan University invites applicants for a full-time permanent faculty position in the area of microeconomics. Candidates should hold a PhD in Economics or a related discipline from a leading university by the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates with a record or demonstrated potential to conduct high-quality research leading to publications in highly ranked journals. Senior appointments are expected to assume a leadership role. Therefore, Henan University provides excellent research conditions with a low teaching load in its graduate program (teaching language: English). Salaries (including research fund and housing lump-sum) are competitive and will be commensurate with qualification.

The School of Economics at Henan University is offering undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs in economics. The school has a young and growing team of professors with degrees from the US, Canada and Europe with a research focus on Applied Economics and Econometrics. The school expanded its international focus in recent years. It invites international visiting scholars, hosts international conferences, and accepts a fast growing number of international master and PhD students.
