The Department of Economics in the Sam M Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the field of international trade beginning in Fall 2019. The department is seeking someone whose research focus is at the intersection of international trade and global supply chains, in alignment with the Walton College’s strategic focus. Complementary research interests in either development economics or industrial organization would be especially valued to strengthen the department’s strategic initiatives in these areas. Candidates should demonstrate promise to produce high quality academic research in leading journals and secure external research funding. The successful candidate will be expected to have a commitment to high quality teaching at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
